WebRefine ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by an individual based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch privacy law.

1. Who we are

WebRefine is a web performance SaaS tool currently in development. Our website is located at webrefine.dev. For any privacy-related questions, you can contact us at help@webrefine.dev.

2. What data we collect

We collect only your email address when you sign up for our waitlist. We do not collect any other personal data, and we do not use cookies or tracking technologies beyond basic analytics.

3. Why we collect it

We collect your email address solely to notify you when WebRefine launches and to send relevant product updates. We will never use your email for unrelated marketing or share it with third parties.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your email address based on your explicit consent, given when you submit the waitlist form. You may withdraw this consent at any time by unsubscribing.

5. How we store your data

Your email address is stored securely via Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), our email service provider. Brevo is GDPR-compliant and stores data on servers within the European Union. We do not store your data anywhere else.

6. How long we keep your data

We retain your email address until you unsubscribe or request deletion. If WebRefine does not launch within 24 months of your signup, we will delete all waitlist data.

7. Your rights under GDPR

As a resident of the EU or EEA, you have the following rights:

Right to access — You can request a copy of the data we hold about you.

Right to rectification — You can ask us to correct inaccurate data.

Right to erasure — You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Right to restrict processing — You can ask us to stop processing your data.

Right to data portability — You can request your data in a machine-readable format.

Right to withdraw consent — You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send you.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at help@webrefine.dev and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Vercel Analytics is privacy-friendly, collects no personally identifiable information, uses no cookies, and is fully GDPR compliant by default. No cookie consent banner is required.

9. Third party services

We use the following third party services, each of which has their own privacy policy:

Brevo — Email list management (privacy policy)

Vercel — Website hosting and analytics (privacy policy)

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify waitlist members via email. The latest version will always be available at webrefine.dev/privacy.
